Euro Summer Romance: An Eclectic & Citrus-Infused Styled Shoot at Little Miss Terrigal

There is something undeniably magnetic about a wedding that trades rigid formalities for sun-drenched romance, effortless laughter, and curated cocktails.

Recently, we had the absolute joy of collaborating with an incredible lineup of local creatives for a European Summer–inspired editorial shoot at the breathtaking Little Miss Terrigal. The creative brief was a dream come true: "a couple more concerned with cocktails than formalities"—vibrant, joyful, effortlessly chic, and bursting with personality.

The Inspiration & Colour Palette

Stepping away from traditional neutral palettes, this concept leaned heavily into rich, layered textures and an eclectic tablescape.

We played with:

  • Zesty Citrus & Sunset Oranges

  • Lush Sage Greens

  • Soft Blush Undertones

  • Pops of Deep, Moody Burgundy

With complete creative freedom, our vision was to design bespoke stationery that captured that warm, laid-back Mediterranean vibe while maintaining a refined, modern edge.


The Bespoke Stationery Suite: Thoughtful Tactile Details

To bring this sun-soaked, cocktail-forward vision to paper, we designed a multi-layered suite combining rich textures, elevated typography, and modern romantic touches.

  • The Invitation Suite:

    • Main Invitation, RSVP & Details Cards: Designed with contemporary typography, balanced negative space, and warm tonal accents that echo the eclectic floral palette.

    • Vellum Belly Band & Envelopes: A translucent vellum band cleanly wraps the suite together, paired with premium envelopes featuring custom-patterned envelope liners for an unexpected pop of colour upon opening.

  • The On-Day Place Setting & Menus:

    • Folded Menu with Guest Names: Designed to double as a personalized place card, each guest’s name is beautifully featured on the front cover.

    • Interactive Reveal: Opening the folded card unveils the curated dinner and cocktail menu inside.

    • Tassel Accent: Finished with an exquisite tassel detail on the fold, adding an effortless tactile luxury to each tablescape setting.



Capturing Every Angle: Photography & Behind-The-Scenes Content

One of the biggest highlights of this shoot was seeing the day come to life through two distinct, complementary lenses.

  • The Visionary & Editorial Lens: As the creative mastermind behind the shoot, Kendell Tyne Photography not only curated the entire concept and styling but captured it with absolute magic. Every shot balances rich golden light, raw intimacy, and that effortless, sun-soaked European editorial flair.

  • The Real-Time BTS Magic: Alongside the stills, Toni from Social Side Kick captured every raw, candid moment and dynamic video snippet on the ground. Having dedicated wedding content creation meant capturing the movement of the stationery, the tablescape textures, and effortless micro-moments without missing a beat.
